MEF Zertifizierung für KPN International

KPN International has achieved full certification in conformance to Global Carrier Ethernet Specifications, passing all standards set by the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) program.

MEF certification is the globally recognized and trusted reference for Carrier Ethernet service standardization. In May 2011 we achieved MEF 9 and MEF 14 certification for our Carrier Ethernet Services.

For our clients, MEF certification of our service portfolio is an independent proof point of quality, resilience and performance. Most importantly, certification reflects our ongoing commitment to ensure that all KPN International offerings are future-proofed for our clients.

MEF certification programs are designed for service providers, equipment providers and network professionals. Certification is carried out independently by Iometrix, the official MEF certification lab. Tests are conducted on live services provisioned across the service provider’s production network.

The MEF is a global industry alliance comprising more than 150 organizations and sets the accepted standards for Carrier Ethernet. The MEF develops Carrier Ethernet technical specifications and implementation agreements to promote interoperability and deployment of Carrier Ethernet worldwide.
